​Christopher Chapman - Builder | Winnipeg Assassins Rugby Football Club
​​Christopher Chapman is a graduate of Churchill High School where he first played rugby. A long-time member of the Winnipeg Assassins Rugby Football Club he played with the Assassins for nearly 20 seasons, as well as with the Wimbledon Old Boys. Chris was a member of the Manitoba U19 Provincial Team (1987) and the Manitoba Buffalo (1998). He has been involved with rugby administration since 1988 with the Assassins RFC (various positions, including President), Manitoba Schools Rugby, Rugby Manitoba, Maple Grove Rugby Park, Unified Ultimate Rugby and Friends of Rugby. Chris started coaching at Churchill High School in 1988, is still coaching at Dakota Collegiate and the Rugby Manitoba Men’s Sevens and, since 2019, has been a National Coaching Certification Program and World Rugby Educator. Chris’s accomplishments have been recognized with multiple awards, most recently (in 2020) as a Sport Manitoba’s Volunteer of the Year and now as a very worthy Inductee into the Manitoba Rugby Hall of Fame.
