Manitoba Rugby Hall of Fame 2021 Induction Dinner – Deferred to Saturday, October 15, 2022

The Manitoba Rugby Hall of Fame has decided to defer the next Induction Dinner until Saturday, October 15, 2022 at The Gates. We sincerely appreciate all who responded to our recent (July 2021) poll concerning the next MRHOF Induction Dinner.

This difficult decision was made in consideration of the current uncertainties around COVID-related travel restrictions, capacity limitations and the Delta variant; as well as the fact that we want to make the Induction Dinner a memorable event to properly recognize the new Honoured Members.

The 2022 Induction Dinner will honour the induction of the three new Honoured Members from 2020 - Clint Evans – Pioneer (posthumous), Scott Harland – Builder and Colleen Horton – Builder; as well additional to-be-determined Honoured Members.

Established in 2010, the Manitoba Rugby Hall of Fame celebrates the history of the sport of Rugby (which was first played in Manitoba in 1879) in Manitoba by recognizing those who have significantly contributed to the game and its development. Funds raised by the annual Induction Dinner are used to support the development of rugby facilities across Manitoba. There are now 66 Honoured Members recognized as Players, Teams, Officials, Builders or Pioneers.

For More Information please contact Ray Hoemsen, P. Eng., Chair, Manitoba Rugby Hall of Fame at 204-799-6987 or Ray@RugbyMB.ca. or see www.ManitobaRugbyHallofFame.com.
